CFS-165 is a fluoroalkyl-functional silane coupling agent with excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and low surface free energy. Its unique fluorinated structure provides excellent hydrophobic, oleophobic, and stain-resistant properties. It can be used for surface modification of inorganic materials and to improve the interfacial bonding between organic fluoropolymers and inorganic substrates.

Key Functions

CFS-165 can be used as a silane coupling agent, surface modifier, and adhesion promoter. It improves the bonding performance between organic materials and inorganic substrates while reducing surface energy, thereby providing treated surfaces with excellent water repellency, oil repellency, and stain resistance.

Applications

CFS-165 can be used as a basic material for sol-gel systems and for the synthesis of fluororesins and fluorocopolymers.

As a surface modifier and adhesion promoter, CFS-165 can be used for the surface treatment of inorganic materials such as pigments, glass, and ceramics. It helps improve the bonding performance between organic fluoropolymers and inorganic substrates.

With its excellent surface protection, hydrophobic, and oil-repellent properties, CFS-165 can be applied in wood and textile-related applications as well as surface protection and stain-resistant treatments.

CFS-165 can also be used in agricultural plastic film applications and as an important additive in the synthesis of anti-drip and anti-fogging agents.
